About Sitatunga

Found in the wet forests of Central Africa, Sitatunga are a medium-sized antelope. Female sitatunga don't have horns and weigh approximately 60kg, the larger males have spiralled horns and are larger, weighing 80kg. Female sitatunga are orange in colour, males turn dark brown when matured.

Sitatunga will hide in a body of water to avoid predators. Their hooves are specially adapted for wet and boggy conditions.
