Our Learning and Discovery Team have a number of programmes they can bring to your school - both in person and online!

FREE SCHOOL ROADSHOWS

The Learning and Discovery Team can visit your school this autumn and winter! Our Roadshows are free to schools within the Liverpool City Region as part of our commitment to making our engagement opportunities accessible.

Available from Mondays to Wednesdays, October to February.

  • KNOWSLEY IN THE WILD (YEAR 3 TO 6)

    A 45-minute session delivered in your own classroom focusing on tigers, camels and other Endangered species

  • PLANET PROTECTORS

    A 45-minute session delivered in your school hall. The planet is in trouble and so are our animals. From the oceans to the cloud forests, discover some of the amazing animals that call these habitats home and why they are struggling in their natural habitat. Using animal artefacts and fun engaging activities discover ways we can help our planet and the species on it.

KNOWSLEY SAFARI ONLINE

  • KNOWSLEY IN THE WILD (YEAR RECEPTION TO YEAR 2)

    Join us for a virtual session to find out about the work that Knowsley Safari staff do to protect animals in the wild. Your workshop will be live-streamed to your classroom and you’ll also be able to ask presenters questions in real time too!

  • LIVE STREAM SAFARI SCHOOL

    More than just a 'virtual zoo tour'. With Live Stream Safari School we broadcast our amazing safari education sessions LIVE to your classroom! Our aim: to help those pupils and schools unable to physically visit the Safari to continue to learn and engage with nature and wildlife, benefitting wellbeing.
