Work skills programme for KS3 & KS4 students with special educational needs
This programme covers a range of jobs on offer in the Safari Park such as gardener, janitor, engagement ranger, and animal keeper amongst others. Each job will be accompanied by a practical task to give students some real life work skills.
The programme is run over 5 sessions, with each session lasting 2 hours.
Students will build a portfolio, with information on each job that they have experienced, that can be taken home on completion of the programme.
The programme can accommodate up to 12 students and requires a minimum of 8 students to run.
As the sessions involve visiting multiple departments on safari, moderate mobility is required. We are happy to discuss any mobility requirements for your group and adjust the programme where possible to meet any mobility needs.
