Are you fed up with exciting adventures only being offered during the school day?

Welcome to Safari Squad...

Safari squad is an after-school program running from 3:30-5:00pm one day a week for six weeks. We're offering young adults, school years 7 to 9, an insight into some of the different job roles here at Knowsley Safari and conservation issues currently affecting the planet. Each session includes games, a workshop on that week’s theme, and some hands on activities with our exciting artefacts - each week also eds in a special ‘wow’ moment with some of our animals.

Knowsley Safari has a number of conservation initiatives that we are involved with, from hands-on work on site, to travelling worldwide and contributing to work with endangered species in their natural habitat – the students will get the chance to learn all about each of these and even get involved with some projects!

We will investigate a variety of different roles at the Safari, from the responsibilities of our Research & Conservation team to our Safari Vet, we will have the opportunity to speak to some of the people who work here behind the scenes and get a better understanding of the work that goes into Safari life.
