Whether you’re shielding, it’s too far to travel or you’re looking for online activities to do as a family, join us for an hour as we explore the safari. Our presenters will be out and about around the safari park and showcasing a series of specially made short films showing life on safari with our keepers and animals.
Our live sessions are aimed at 8-11 year olds but are suitable for the whole family! Themes will include: Animal Movement, Keeper Life, Going Green, Food and Feeding and our Conservation Champions. These amazing sessions, delivered by our Safari Educators include Live classroom sessions, behind the scenes footage and a chance for the viewers to ask questions. We're going to have a lot of fun!
Tuesday 25th August: Keeper Life: Find out what its like to work with animals as we explore tasks such as mucking out and food prep
Wednesday 26th August: Conservation Champions: Discover which of our species are endangered and what we at the park are doing to protect them
Friday 28th August: Awesome Animals: The big, the small, the feathery, the furry – Explore the most amazing animals that we have here on safari
All sessions start at 10.30am
How does it work? Upon booking you will be sent a link. You will use this on the day of the session to access the live stream. Content will be around 45 minutes and viewers will be able to ask questions and comment throughout. Please note: safeguarding guidelines will apply.
