If continuous heavy rain persists for more than 90 minutes between 11am & 3pm, visitors may claim a free* return visit on a future date.

Eligible dates will be advertised on our website from the next working day
Eligible guests must have purchased tickets online in advance.
Guests must present their original ticket confirmation when redeeming a return visit along with a valid photographic ID.
The guarantee applies to prebooked admission tickets via Knowsley Safari’s Website only (Does not apply to our special events, animal encounters or experiences).
Return visit must be redeemed within 3 months of the affected day
You cannot re-visit more than once under this guarantee.
School visits, Member visits, and tickets booked through a third party are excluded from this guarantee.
No cash alternative is available, tickets cannot be re-sold or exchanged.
Return visits can only be exchanged for the same original ticket type (i.e. An Adult ticket for an Adult ticket).
Return visits are not able to be booked on Bank Holiday weekends.
Any other additional paid-for activities are exempt and do not apply (i.e. Ride tokens and wristbands, Baboon Bus tickets)
If you have used Blue Light Discount to book your original visit, your revisit must booked before 31st December 2025
Does not apply to Enchanted and other special events

Rain or Shine, Adventure Awaits
There is still plenty to explore on the safari come rain or shine. Ponchos and umbrellas are available for purchase in the Gift Shop.
Booking Changes Due to severe weather
If any other extreme weather results in closure of the Safari, affected visitors may:
Reschedule their tickets at no additional cost.
Receive priority booking for the next available date.
Return visits are subject to availability. Knowsley Safari has the right to refuse entry and withdraw the Rainy Day Promise offer at any time. Qualifying days will be determined by Knowsley Safari and that decision is final.
