Thursday 9th August 2018 – Come and see an open air theatre performance of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

This summer The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, in their fourteenth successful year, are touring Shakespeare’s spellbinding masterpiece, The Tempest.

Bring your own low backed seating or rugs and spend a glorious summer’s evening watching this wonderful production. Picnics are encouraged however naked flames are not permitted. You will be able to purchase liquid refreshments at the event.

Performed in the open air, on the back lawn of the Hall’s grounds, by an all male cast with Elizabethan costume, music and dance. This is an outdoor event and will take place whatever the weather. This is undoubtedly one of the hottest tickets of the summer!

Family tickets purchased in advance (2 adults & 2 children) £45 (+P&P)

Gates open at 6.30pm and the performance will start at 7.30pm promptly. The performance is scheduled to finish at 9.45pm.

Postage & Packaging

There is a charge of £2 applied at checkout for the booking, postage and packaging.

Tickets will be posted out approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. Tickets bought after the 7th of August must be collected on the day of the performance.

    Knowsley Hall is an authentic stately home dating back to 1385. Home to The Earl & Countess of Derby, the Hall is set within 2,500 acres of parkland with stunning manicured gardens and a lake.
  • What to bring
    Please bring your own low-backed seating or rugs. Picnics are welcome, however naked flames are not permitted. Sun hats, sun cream, sunglasses, raincoats and rain hats should all be considered.
