You can add your own private tour guide to your visit for just an extra cost of £1.00 per person*. Our tour guides will embark your bus at the Coach reception and will travel around the safari drive with your group giving you great insights into the animals you are seeing, and really help your group get the most out of their visit! Here at Knowsley Safari we are offering fantastic days specifically for uniform groups!
Your session will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and will include a range of wild activities!
You’ll explore the safari drive on the Baboon Bus, play some safari themed games, get a guided walking tour to meet some of our favourite creatures and critters. You’ll experience the wonders of the Sea Lion display, enter the safari classroom to find out some fantastic facts, plus get involved in crafts that you can take home!
All activities are linked to animals badges and animal care badges! We will cover all the criteria for children to gain their badges by the end of the day.
Maximum of 30 children per day, minimum for 10 children.

We are committed to being as accessible as possible for all visitors. A summary of our facilities is set out below.
Parking for people with disabilities
There are dedicated parking places for those with disabilities adjacent to the entrance by the coach park. There is no kerb between the parking area and the walk around area entrance.
Wheelchair / pushchair friendly entrance
The walk around area is on one level with ramped access at all kerbs. A wheelchair is also available for loan from the restaurant.
Adult changing facilities
We have Adult changing room with hoist facilities. These designated accessible facilities are located in the main toilet block by our disabled parking. Please click the link above for more information.
