Our walk around area offers everything from sea lion displays and play areas to elephants and giraffes. Our Wild Trail should not be missed with our European Moose, Bruce & Froja, just waiting to say hello. And if you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of the amusement rides, why not take the family out on a rowing boat on Mizzy Lake? There’s so much to do, you’ll struggle to fit it all in!
Displays & Animal Talks
We want our guests to be as excited and inspired about our amazing animals as we are. Our displays and keeper talks are a chance for you and your family to learn something new about the world we live in, in a fun and exciting way. Our sea lion display runs daily as do our birds of prey displays, while our keeper talks run every weekend and on school holidays. See our What’s On page for details of times.
Food & Drink
A visit to us is a full day out and we like you to be able to have fun, so we take the hassle out of feeding the family. While you and your family are out on Safari, our restaurant team is busy preparing the menu fresh every day. For 2016 we have introduced a new menu in the Oasis Restaurant to complement our existing fresh Deli menu of bespoke sandwiches, fresh salads and carvery.
Our new dishes are all homemade and have also extended the choices for children with a delicious chicken korma and fresh pasta bolognese.
As well as fun play areas and a giant sandpit (always a firm favorite with the younger children) we also have amusement rides designed for children under the age of 11 yrs old. To enjoy our rides you can either buy a wristband at our information centre that will give you unlimited access all day, or buy tickets for just one or two of your favorites.
Wild Trail & Boating Lake
Take a walk (or a row) around our Wild Trail; your window to the natural world. This area is alive with native wildlife, so be sure to touch, listen, smell and search your way around this ever changing environment. The boating lake is open from noon on weekends & school holidays from April to September and the last boat leaves 20 minutes before the safari park closes.
