As part of our Foot Safari Transformation we will be moving some animals around the park into new locations giving guests the chance to see them in completely new ways.
One of the first changes you’ll see is that work is beginning near our Wild Trail to create a brand new purpose built habitat for our wolves. If you haven’t been down to our Wild Trail before it is a fantastic woodland trail with broad leaf and evergreen trees, ponds, flowing water and wildflowers. It is a hive of native wildlife, buzzing with bugs and birds. We’re now extending the trail and creating a new space for one of natures most recognisable predators …. the wolf.
The wolves are currently on the safari drive but the new area will provide a better experience for guests to see them and to discover more about wolves in the wild.
When will the new area be finished?
Work will be beginning later in March and we are aiming to have everything ready by the summer so guests can get some fantastic views of our wolves when they come to visit. We’ll be posting regular updates and sneak peaks of designs over the next couple of months so keep your eyes peeled for news on our website.
