Summer Adventures At Knowsley Safari
We’re bringing the wild to the city! This summer, keep your eyes peeled in Liverpool city centre for our unmissable new tiger and giraffe print taxis – designed to stop traffic and turn heads.
From 1st August 2025, we’ve let loose three safari-themed taxis across a ten-mile radius of Liverpool, and they’re already making an impression. These animal print cabs are a nod to our iconic residents – the Amur tigers, African lions, White rhinos and towering giraffes – and they're part of our exciting new campaign to bring a taste of Knowsley Safari to the heart of the city.
Each month, the taxis are expected to carry over 3,000 passengers, but there’s an extra incentive to hop in early: the first ten passengers in each of the three branded cabs will receive a free Knowsley Safari summer pass. That’s unlimited safari visits until 30th September 2025 – completely free!
A Roaring First for Knowsley Safari
This eye-catching taxi takeover, developed in partnership with Media Agency Group, marks our very first taxi marketing campaign, soon after the arrival of our new Head of Marketing and Sales, Helena Berry, who shared her thoughts on the launch:
“The Safari-branded cabs are real head turners. They’re a fun addition to Liverpool city centre and we hope they’ll inspire more people to visit Camp Knowsley – our action-packed summer event for kids – and keep the excitement going into autumn and winter.”
Step into the wild at Camp Knowsley
Running from 4th–31st August, Camp Knowsley is the ultimate summer adventure for children aged 4–10. Young explorers can enjoy hands-on bushcraft activities including:
Shelter building
Fire lighting
Stone age tool making
Bug eating (if they’re brave enough!)
It’s the perfect mix of outdoor fun, learning and family bonding – all in the heart of our safari park.

Summer Pass
Didn’t manage to catch a free pass in one of our taxis? Don’t worry! Our Knowsley Safari Summer Pass is still available for just £199 for a family of four, with unlimited visits until 7th September 2025.
