Knowsley Safari Park is holding a BIG DRAW event on Sunday 25th October 2009, from 1.00pm to 4.00pm where everyone can have the opportunity to get arty and draw something.
Local artist, Philip Garrett (www.sculptureschool.org), who can sometimes be seen sketching and modelling the animals at the park, will be in the Walk Around Area with the meerkats, giraffe, elephants and otters inviting visitors to join in the arty fun.
Knowsley Safari Park is providing all the artist materials, so come and have a go. Any age and ability can take part. Have a go at getting your interpretation of a giraffe on paper. Let us see your meerkat masterpiece or otter offerings. You don't have to be good at drawing, we want you to join in and have FUN. Let your inner artist out!
Once your work is finished we would like to display them in our Knowsley Safari Park BIG DRAW Gallery, and our online gallery too, we won't force you to put your name on it if you don't want too.
If you haven't drawn for years or have always fancied a go at a bit of art come down to Knowsley Safari Park. You never know we might find a river hog Rembrandt, a meerkat Monet or Leonardo de Monkey!
