Safari Park...
Practical Tips
Just some hints and tips to help our explorers get the most Out of their sessions:
You must have completed and returned your consent form before you can take part (Please advise us if the information on this changes at any time)
All sessions (excluding those in August) run 10-12.30pm. They will all start and finish in the safari school
Please report to coach reception on arrival for each session
Parents may drop children off at the safari school – but if they or other family members wish to stay in the park then entry must be paid
Don't wear your best clothes! Between craft time and meeting the animals, there's a high chance you might get messy!
Always wear sensible shoes (no open toes please)
We will spend time outside so bring waterproofs, hats and sun cream as necessary
Your membership pack contains 1 t-shirt. If you loose or outgrow this then a replacement can be ordered at a cost of £10
We have water on hand if you become thirsty but no other drinks or snacks will be provided
Choice of session date cannot be guaranteed – early booking is advised
At the end of each calender year we will ask members to resister to continue to attend the club. There will be no additional joining fee – this is simply to keep records up to date and maintain an active membership database
Children who turn 12 will automatically forfeit their place but will be invited to join our Junior Rangers program for 12-15 year olds
For further information on our safeguarding and special needs policy please contact the chief explorer.
