| Knowsley Safari Park’s Education Department offers a wide variety of national curriculum based sessions. These are suitable for all ages, ranging from Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 3 and beyond. |

Foundation Fun – an introduction to animals – real animals and a song
Key Stage 1
Living Things – explore how some animals move, breathe, feed and grow
Variety of Life – discover similarities and differences in animal classification
Key Stage 2
Variety of Life – discover similarities and differences in animal classification
Food and Feeding – herbivores, carnivores and omnivores, a close encounter with animal teeth!
Savannah Story – drama workshop for 25-35 pupils about how the African grasslands ecosystem works
Growing Up – life cycles, using live animals, props and artefacts
Endangered Animals – discover why some species are endangered and what you can do to help
Adaptations – how animals live in their habitats
Key Stage 3
Endangered Animals – discover why some species are endangered and what you can do to help

Travel and Tourism – (various levels) – presentation on how the safari park works in the leisure industry

Prices
School entry rate for Foundation Years to Year 11 is ONLY £6.00 per pupil (School staff are FREE, other adults £6).
Year 12 and above is £12 per student (teaching staff are FREE, other adults £12).
Foundation – Key Stage 2 sessions are £1 per pupil for a half an hour session.
Key Stage 3 and above sessions are £2 per student for 45minutes to 1 hour session.
