Are dogs allowed around the Safari Drive?

No. We have some kennels and you may hire a padlock for a deposit of £5.00 (refunded when padlock returned). But you may walk your dog around the amenities area.

We can't find Knowsley Safari Park on our car sat. nav!

The best thing to do is ask for M57 Junction 2. You can then follow the brown signs from there (2 minutes from us). The post code for the park is L34 4AN.

Do the monkeys damage your vehicle?
0
Probably, although you can minimise the risk by not stopping in the Monkey Jungle. Also, we ask you not to feed the baboons.

Do you have to drive through the Monkey Jungle?
0
No, we have a car friendly bypass. You can still see the baboons, but on the other side of the fence.

How accessible is the park for people with disability?
0
The walkaround area is tarmac so is easy to walk on or push a chair. Access to the shop and restaurant are by wide doorways without steps. The sea lion show is accessible at ground level and we have recently built an underwater viewing area for the sea lion pool with ramp access, our lakeside train has a carriage designed for wheelchair users. The only area with possible problems is the Woodland Walk due to gravel pathways. Accessible toilet facilities are on site, we have wheelchairs available for hire from the restaurant, and our friendly staff are always willing to help where they can. We are proud to say that we were listed in the Rough Guide top 100 accessible attractions in the UK. Our access statement can be viewed on this link: http://www.knowsleysafariexperience.co.uk/accessstateme.asp
